Hello my name is Bianca Weatherly, welcome to my portfolio! Thank you for taking a look at my work. Below is a little bit about me and why I love design.

In 2018 I received my BFA in Design from the Maine College of Art & Design, Portland, ME. I’ve been fortunate to work and collaborate in multiple creative settings from branding studios and advertising agencies to a behavior change/UX agency.

I have always been interested in how and why people choose to interact with the things they are drawn to in their daily lives: brands, products, services, and systems. It fascinates me to see how psychology plays the biggest role in how we interact with things—and more importantly, each other. I’m a firm believer that design is a form of language that often speaks the loudest, which is why it’s important to design with a sense of responsibility. I believe you should understand the rules first before finding clever ways to break them.

When I’m not working I enjoy quality time with family and friends. Playing cribbage, going golfing, and taking the dogs on walks—bonus points if it’s a beach walk, and late night fires. I also enjoy fine art and hand-lettering (I’m a huge typography nerd). You might find me selling artwork at local craft and artisan fairs around the seacoast.
